The sector skills council, Skills for Care, has a special training fund called the Workforce Development Fund (WDF) which allows Care service providers to recoup some of the costs of accredited training programmes such as the Diploma in Care.
In order to access these funds, a Care service provider needs to have an up to date NMDS (soon to be known as the Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set (ASC-WDS)), and be signed up to one of the partnerships to which Skills for Care allocates a WDF budget. CareSkills has significant experience helping smaller Care service providers access this money and can help your organisation identify a suitable partner organisation in the region.
Further information on the WDF can be found here.
